Star Wars, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith – 27 Second Review

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

Written & Directed by: George Lucas
Starring: Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, Hayden Christensen, Ian McDiarmid, Samuel L. Jackson

Review: Where to begin… somehow, we’ve dropped even further down the “Oh shit, what have we done!?” chain. This one is comically bad. Where did congruency go? Now all droids have magically become sentient, one of which coughs incessantly due to his vestigial lungs. R2-D2 suddenly gains self defense measures, and an attitude to match. Ewan McGregor randomly grows a Welsh accent, and Yoda starts spouting one-liners that would be badass were it not for his constant confusion of subject placement in his speech structure (suck diseased pig ass, this movie does). I once said it’s time for George Lucas to put down the shovel. I take it back. Keep digging George. We’ll fill in the hole when it’s deep enough.

Time: 27 seconds (had to push the limits for this one)

  • You paid money to see this?

You have indeed forgotten the face of your father. Unless you just did it to spare others with this review….

  • It’s so weird…. some people who hated the first two are praising this one to the skies. Somehow, I can’t imagine Hayden not sucking, but that’s just me.
