Manhattan Special Espresso Coffee Soda – Drink Review

Manhattan Special Espresso Coffee Soda

Review: This is basically exactly what it says: coffee, espresso and some carbonated water to make it soda-like. Of course, carbonation and coffee normally shouldn’t mix. Even Jolt Espresso (which is also exactly what it purports to be) is nasty stuff, but you don’t care because it’s like a nice swift kick in the head. This, however, lacks that kick and is left as just somewhat nasty.

How could you not like this stuff? I am originally from new york and go to extreme lengths to find this stuff here in florida. I miss it so much. They ave to be ICE COLD to be at their best, but Ill drink it any which way.

I dunno, man, it just didn’t work for me. Now, granted, notice I’m holding an EMPTY bottle. :)

Never heard of it before today. Saw it in the store and thoght I’d try it caused it seemed pretty off the wall. This stuff is fantastic! And it was room temp the way I like it. I can’t stand ice cold drinks. I’m now looking to buy it by the case.

You can buy cases on Amazon. UPS is more than happy to break them for you, on the way to have it delivered.

This is the best soda in the world, but it’s definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. I find it best served over ice, but like @NYC Coffe, I’ll drink it any which way.

You are all missing the best use ever of coffee soda! Get it cold. Put it in a tall glass. Add ice cream! It’s a coffee float! Died and gone to heaven!

I’m only 78 years young and I can remember drinking this stuff since I was a child. My dad always had a few bottles in the house. (The smaller btls, long before they put it in quarts)

This is great stuff. Widge, this is just not your thing.Summer is coming soon: try equal parts of Godiva white chocolate liquor, your favorite vodka, and pour into tall glass over ice. Kick back and fasten your seat belt! And Mike is right-small bottles are better then big ones.

Dennis: Well anything can be improved by adding liquor, amigo. :-) Hell, when I tried this I didn’t even have that option. But now that you mention it…
