Actually, it never went away…I, and my high school band director, have been drinking it for years. But if they want to do a new ad campain for this wonderful substance, I saw GO FOR IT ^___^
One of my students drinks it all the time. The others mock him for some reason.
TAB drinker since 1980 ~ drink nothing else for soda, have suffered through the reformulations but love the original the best. Gotta say, my daughter was stunned to see an ad on the New Years Eve in Time Square Celebrations. I’ve always abided that there was a Nutrasweet Conspiracy that led to the decline of TAB as a top diet drink. When Nutrasweet went into all the diet sodas and TAB had saccharine ~ TAB was considered bad for you then we’ve learned that nutrasweet has its negatives too. TAB could turn around but I don’t think a reformulation and being chic would do it. I think a straightforward ad campaign with TAB being the original diet soft drink would have been fine. I stand the mocking as I’m a loyal drinker!
I love the old TAB ; I am upset that they have changed it; I will try the new TAB too; but I want the old TAB to be made available also!!!!
I drank Tab since I was 10. My mom bought it for me because I was overweight. Switched to Diet Coke in the 80’s. Easier to get. Drank it for 20 years and now have just gotten over aspartame poisoning. Diet coke is bad. Found Tab at a local store because I read that it had saccharin in it. I think I have died and gone to heaven. I am a diet soda junkie and missed diet soda so badly. Thank you TAB for using saccharin!
