‘Kill House’ on the Market on DVD on May 29

Someone’s Making a Killing in Real Estate

Kill House is a modern day tale of bloodlust, rivalry and greed – masquerading as the American Dream. In this self-indulgent world of terror where no one’s who he or she seems to be — everyone’s a suspect. A bloody black comedy with a satirical twist, Kill House will make its DVD debut on May 29 from Trinity Home Entertainment. It will be priced to own at $14.99.

As news of a brutally murdered San Francisco realtor throws the Los Angeles real estate community into a tailspin, fear and panic spread as more and more agents turn up dead. Who’s behind these crazed serial killings? The prime suspect is a handsome ex-con hired by one of the property owners. But after he’s caught, the killings don’t stop – they only get worse! One by one victims are savagely dropped to the grave by any means necessary — shovels, hatchets, and strangulation- even sharp pens. Heinous and hilarious, Kill House harkens back to the great campy “slasher” films of the 70’s. Destined to be a cult classic, Kill House satires both horror movies and consumerism.

Featuring a brilliant young cast, Kill House stars Susan Artigas (TV’s “Sabado Gigante”), Drew Droege (TV’s “Reno 911”) and cult favorite Iris Berry. Kill House was written and directed by up and coming writer-director Beth Dewey, who also stars in the role of Sunny, the newest real estate agent at Connor Realtors. Dewey’s first feature film, Tweeked, stars Independent Spirit Award nominee Darling Narita, and was nominated for a PRISM award. Tweeked was released in 2005 on DVD by Go-Kart Films and Koch Lorber.
