New Season To Feature Celebrity Guest Appearances by the Ying Yang Twins, Bow Wow, & Jermaine Dupri

New York, NY May 3, 2007- This Mother’s Day, MTV pays homage to ‘mommas’ everywhere with a sneak-peek marathon of the new season of “Yo Momma” before it premieres in its regularly-scheduled timeslot on Monday, June 4th. On Sunday, May 13th, the preview kicks off at 10AM (ET/PT) with the debut of THE BEST OF NEW YORK special that finally crowns the best trash-talker in New York City. Immediately following the BEST OF NEW YORK special, viewers will be treated to a sneak-peek of eight episodes from the upcoming third season. The new season kicks off Monday, June 4th at 6:30pm.

In this next run of “Yo Momma,” Wilmer, J-Boogie and Destiny (the newest –and hottest – member of the “Yo Momma” team) bring their “A” game and head to Atlanta, GA to find the illest trash-talkers around. The Dirty South brings a fresh flavor, full of new lively characters, outrageous disses and, of course, new Mommas! Contenders will rumble every week, armed with personal information and ammo from their competition’s home, battling it out to make it to the top.


At the end of each week, “Yo Momma” will feature the Best of the Best episode where the rivals put it on the line to win the title of Champion of the Week. To jack up the stakes, celebrity guests will be making special appearances and lending their unique touches to the episode as well as help decide the victor. Some of the celebrities appearing this season include: the Ying Yang Twins, Bow Wow and Jermaine Dupri. Get ready to witness some of the most serious trash-talking yet. The no-holds-barred comedy competition pits some of the Dirty South’s finest against one another, ending in a special episode when one of the lucky finalists is crowned the “Best of Atlanta.”
