1940 Celebrity Charity Baseball Game At Wrigley Field

Man, what I wouldn’t give to see the complete footage of this game–Boris Karloff as Frankenstein’s Monster, The Three Stooges, Sinatra as a team captain: it might be enough to get me interested in baseball.

Update: Alas, the footage has been taken down…but you do still get to see the “umpire” emerging from the dugout in this replacement bit…
