Win Justice League: The New Frontier on DVD!

Justice League: The New Frontier 2-Disc Special Edition DVD cover art

February 26th, there’s a new DC Comics animated flick hitting video: Justice League: The New Frontier. It’s coming out on DVD, HD-DVD and Blu-Ray, incidentally, and if the name sounds familiar, it’s probably because it’s based on the graphic novel by Darwyn Cooke. It tells the tale of the founding of the League and has amongst its vocal cast: David Boreanaz, Brooke Shields, Lucy Lawless, Neil Patrick Harris, Miguel Ferrer, Kyra Sedgwick, Jeremy Sisto and Kyle MacLachlan.

This comes with a docu on the history of the League, with everybody from Paul Levitz, head burrito at DC to Mark Waid to Marv Wolfman to Stan Lee. There’s a sneak peek at Batman: Gotham Knight where Batman meets anime. You also get two commentaries.

And because we have two copies of the special edition to give away, you also get a history of super-villains, a docu on the original graphic novel, and three episodes of the why-did-you-cancel-it-in-the-first-place-you-dweebs Justice League Unlimited selected by Bruce Timm.

And for those of you that don’t know the story, here’s what they say about it:

The New Frontier takes viewers on an action-packed adventure, exploring the origins of the Justice League. DC Comics legends Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are all featured in the film as well as Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and The Flash – as they band together to form the legendary super team. Strangers at first, these very different heroes must overcome fear and suspicion to forge an alliance against a monster so formidable, even the mighty Superman cannot stop it alone. If they fail, the entire planet will be “cleansed” of humanity.
