Classic Television Showbiz points us at the first half of a television pilot from 1958, “Jam Session.” This show was apparently going to give jazz performers a chance to do their thing for the cameras. Featured in the pilot: Dave Brubeck and his Quartet, jamming their asses off. Watch Brubeck get so involved that…well, it happens at four and a half minutes in.
