The Year My Parents Went on Vacation DVD Cover Art

When you’re a kid, you think about how life would be if you were on your own with no parents. Probably a highly romanticized ideal picture of some adventure or some such. That’s not precisely the case with this film, in which the young protagonist’s parents have to “disappear” lest they “be disappeared.” And what results is the kid on his own trying to go on with life in the hopes his parents will return. We have a spare copy of the movie here–if you’d like to win it, go ahead and enter…and you can do so once a day.

  • Sounds very interesting~I remember my parents threatening to sell me,instead they sent me to boarding school.So goes life~then the 60’s hit and I know they wish they HAD sold me.
