It was in 1993 that the album first hit (which I bought at the time), and though I never owned the home video version, I did have (and probably still have filed away somewhere) a copy of The Freedom Sessions. I also have something like five versions of “Ice Cream.” I am saddened that this was fifteen years ago. Because that makes me old.
