Abbott and Costello: Colgate Comedy Hour

This time last year we were watching the trailer for The Blob. The original version, I mean. And there’s only so many murderous hunks of gelatin running around, so let’s shift gears.

We’re over to Abbott and Costello. And I know we’ve posted the trailer to …Meet Frankenstein already (which if you haven’t seen the full movie, for Christ’s sake, fix that) but here we’ve got them meeting another monster on the Colgate Comedy Hour. The sound is very low on this, so headphones are helpful.

  • When I watched them as a kid I hated Bud Abbott. Then I found out when I got older that Lou Costello was a bastard to Bud in real life.
