Redd Foxx here being interviewed in 1983 by The Ebony Jet Showcase. It’s just a few minutes, but Foxx manages to be thoughtful, sad and funny all at the same time. If this is indeed 1983, then I count two more tries that came later for television–one was The Royal Family, which was interrupted by his untimely death. The man was damn funny.
