32 Days of Halloween III, Movie Night No. 3: The Twilight Zone

Rod Serling: The Twilight Zone

Okay, so it’s not a movie…but dammit, The Twilight Zone turns fifty today, and that’s a perfect excuse to share a couple of episodes. I could grab these off of Veoh, but unfortunately those aren’t viewable by everybody, and this is a globally read website. So. Just for the record.

We’re going with two classics–first the familiar face of The Shat in “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet” (remade quite well in the feature film version of the series, of course, with John Lithgow):

I’d like to point out that all of these episodes are available on the Twilight Zone: Complete Definitive Edition. Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely.

And we’ll close with another uber-classic episode: “Time Enough at Last.” Yes, the one with Burgess Meredith. That one.

For those wanting more, we’ve previously posted one of my favorites, “To Serve Man” (which was made into boxers at one point), “An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge,” and “The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street.”

Last year we were checking out Horror Hotel and before that? The Thing From Another World!
