Boris Karloff in The Lost Patrol

Boris Karloff in Lost Patrol

Again, I love this stuff because I get an excuse to share Karloff that doesn’t really fit in the 32 Days of Halloween vein. Thanks to the Karloff Blogathon folks for that.

So here he is directed by John Ford in The Lost Patrol from 1934. It stars Karloff as secondary lead to Victor McLaglen, who would later wind up with an Oscar nom for The Quiet Man. It also has Reginald Denny, Wallace Ford, and Alan Hale’s in it, too–i.e., the father of the Skipper from Gilligan’s Island. Enjoy.
