    Thanks for the kind words. The ending of this poem was really tough on me. Some of my attempts featured elaborate swearing in several languages.

    *nods in understanding* It's always more satisfying to swear in several languages--the incisive brevity of the French, wed to the guttural brutality of the Old English... It is a thing of beauty and purified pique.
