Invaders From Mars

For Night No. 29, we’ve generally turned our eyes to the stars. We started off our first year with Plan 9 From Outer Space. Followed by Teenagers From Outer Space and then the ultimate classic, Robot Monster.

And now we turn our eyes to the 1953 original classic, Invaders From Mars. I say original because it was remade by Tobe Hooper in 1986. Here, a young boy witnesses a flying saucer land near his house. It’s the beginnings of an invasion from Mars, who implants things in the townsfolk in order to control them and make them do Bad Things. Hijinks ensue. Enjoy.
