Music Monday: Daft Punk, Warpaint and Miss Kenichi

More music picks for your Monday. If you like what you hear, use the links provided to snag it for yourself from Amazon. Doing so through us gives us kickbacks, and those help pay for stuff like tickets to do Wayhomers. And more music.

Daft Punk: Tron: Legacy
Warpaint: The Fool
Miss Kenichi: Fox

[ad#shortpost]This week it’s a joint effort between all three members of the Sound Board Crew. First up, we have Tuffley, and I think he’s seconded and thirded by the rest of us on this: the Daft Punk soundtrack for Tron: Legacy. Although reviews thus far are reporting that the film itself is a disappointment, the soundtrack has a lot to offer, even if the movie will go on to crush our dreams. It’s even going to be available starting tomorrow as an MP3 download on Amazon for $3.99 if the pricing they show is to be believed. Or if you prefer a meatspace-level CD, then here you go.

Rob’s pick for this Music Monday is Warpaint and their album The Fool. Here’s their track from that album: “Undertow.”

That album is available from Amazon as either a real-life CD or an MP3 download. The latter of which is $6.99 as I write this.

Of course, what’s weird is that when I first heard that track, I could have sworn I was hearing Katrin Hahner aka Miss Kenichi. You might see what I mean when you check out my pick for this week: “Arrived” from the album Fox.

The album is currently available only as an MP3 download (without importing and costing yourself a fortune).
