So we open 32 Days of Halloween V: A New Beginning’s audio portion with some Poe, as we are wont to do. First year it was “The Raven,” and then “Spirits of the Dead.” This year, another Poe classic: “Annabel Lee.”

  • Psychobilly band Tiger Army have a song fittingly called Annabel Lee which uses a lot of the imagery in Poe’s poem as it’s lyrical inspiration.

  • Absolutely beautiful! The voice was quite on spot and dramatic. It had really expressed the emotions in each word contained in the ballad.
