Future DVD

It's The Future, out on DVD from Lionsgate. Here's what they have to say for themselves:

Written and directed by the celebrated Miranda July (Me and You and Everyone We Know), the film also stars July, along with Hamish Linklater (TV's "The New Adventures of Old Christine"), David Warshofsky (There Will Be Blood) and Isabella Acres (TV's "Better Off Ted"). Garnering top accolades on the Festival circuit, The Future was named a Special Selection at the Sundance Film Festival (2011) and was nominated for the Golden Berlin Bear Award at the 2011 Berlin International Film Festival. Critics have also praised the indie darling as "a unique and rewarding experience" (Boxoffice Magazine) and is "wonderfully whimsical" (Village Voice). The DVD explores the dark comedy even further with special features that include an audio commentary with July, a behind-the-scenes featurette and a deleted scene.

When a thirty-something couple (July and Linklater) decides to adopt a stray cat, their entire perspective on life changes dramatically, with the decision literally altering the course of time while testing their faith in themselves and each other.
