So a little ways back I was pinged on my reading of "The Fall of the House of Usher" by someone I'd never met before who wanted to use it as narration in an animated film they were working on. And shortly thereafter, I got the link: it's for a contest involving Tim Burton (where it appears he's an eventual judge or some such). And the bit they used is essentially "The Haunted Palace."
And I think the end result is delightfully mental. I never thought I'd be sharing an animated short film with Campbell's Soup and Jell-O Instant Pudding. Check it out after the break:
If you enjoy it, do me (and more importantly, the filmmakers) a favor and give them a vote. Just click the "Vote" in the upper left. Thanks kindly!
And thanks to Elodie for letting me be a part of their project!
And if anybody wants to use my narration for anything else, just ping me.
