Jackass Complete TV Movie CollectionIf you’re a fan of the Jackass television series and movies, you’ll be excited to know that the Jackass Complete Movie and TV Collection is now available in an eleven-disc DVD set.  Released just in time for Action Point (the newest movie in the franchise), the set features all seven films and the entire television series (presented in its unrated version). Thrilling stunts and uproarious pranks abound as Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, and Jason ‘Wee Man’ Acuña seek to fill their lives with as much hilarity as possible.  Sadly there are no bonus features in this collection (I imagine all the hijinks create some fairly lively behind-the-scenes action and that these guys would provide some pretty colorful audio commentary, but there you have it.)  The Jackass Complete Movie and TV Collection is available on Amazon for $18.59, which considering the total run time of 979 minutes means you’re paying less than two cents a minute to experience everything Jackass.

Jericho Complete SeriesWhen their tranquil lives are interrupted by the appearance of a mushroom cloud in the sky paired with all electronic media going dead, the citizens of Jericho, Kansas are thrust into an apocalyptic world of chaos and panic, forcing them to re-evaluate who to trust, who to follow, and how to survive.  Jericho premiered in September 2006, was cancelled after its first season, and was then renewed due to a massive campaign from loyal viewers (which included fans sending over twenty tons of nuts to CBS headquarters as a reference to one of the show’s episodes). The second season ran for a short-lived seven episodes and then ended in a second cancellation. If you are one of the very passionate fans of the show, you’ll be thrilled to know that Jericho: The Complete Series is now available on DVD, which includes all twenty-nine episodes of the show. The set also features multiple extras, including deleted scenes, audio commentaries, an alternate unaired ending segment to the series finale, behind-the-scenes featurettes, a table read, examinations of action sequences, and cast members’ memorable moments. The DVD set of Jericho: The Complete Series is currently on Amazon for $22.99.

In The Invaders, architect David Vincent finds his world turned upside down when he witnesses a UFO landing and begins to try to convince others that the extraterrestrials have taken human form in order to take over the planet.  With only fellow believer (and conveniently millionaire) Edgar Scoville to help him, Vincent must learn as much as he can about the aliens and show Earth’s citizens the truth before it is too late.  A classic sci-fi series, The Invaders ran from 1967-1968 and included special guest stars such Ed Asner, Barbara Hershey, Peggy Lipton, Gene Hackman, and others.  The Invaders: The Complete Series is now available in a DVD set which features all forty three original episodes and a handful of extras.  Bonus content includes an extended sixty-minute version of the pilot, an interview with the show’s star Roy Thinnes (who also does episode introductions), and two episode commentaries by series creator Larry Cohen and producer Alan Armer.  Fans can get the DVD set on Amazon for $27.49.

South Park Complete Twenty-First SeasonCreated by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, South Park has grown from an offshoot from one of the internet’s first viral videos to one of Comedy Central’s top-rated shows.  On September 13, 2017, the series premiered its twenty-first season (does that make you feel super old?) to the acclaim of fans and reviewers alike.  Season twenty-one sees Cartman, Kenny, Stan, and Kyle dealing with social media, the opioid epidemic, war with Canada, and water bears.  The season is now out on Blu-ray and DVD; both sets include all ten episodes along with mini-commentaries by Parker and Stone along with social media commentary as well.  South Park: The Complete Twenty-First Season is snaggable on Amazon with the DVD priced at $19.96 and the Blu-ray at $24.99  (You can also find the season digitally on both Amazon and iTunes for $19.99 and $24.99, respectively.)
