700 Bands

The madness continues. For more information, go here.

481. Stewie Defeats Truman.
Provided by Rob.

482. Munching Valhalla.

483. The Kittens Are Burning.

484. Ye Olde Noyse.
Those last three provided by Siege. I think Ye Olde Noyse should be a 70s/80s cover band dressed as Vikings.

485. United Front Baby.

486. Actual Sisyphus.
Via John Hodgman.

487. The Muppet Prophylactics.

488. The Neil Indonesian Coffee Incident.

489. Neil's Dog is Not a Bushel.
The last two from here.

490. Snellville on $8 a Day.

New band names up for grabs each Tuesday and Thursday. When we're not...doing something else. Until we hit 700.

471. The Hitler Gargoyles.
I can't remember where I heard this, but it was in conversation.

472. All Our Pepperoni is Dead.

473. Teckmanology.

474. Lint Velocity.

475. Oregano is Not the Capital of Oregon.

476. Blood, Guts and Moonshine.
Soundtracks to testosterone-driven films and television, covered by a straight-up bluegrass band. Suggestions for what I'd like to hear: the A-Team theme...and the score of Bullitt.

477. Ashes to Ashley, Dust to Dustin.
Imagine a bubblegum pop couple in the midst of a terrible, horrendous breakup but having to perform anyway.

478. The Tabernacle Choir vs. The Zombies.
I have no idea.

479. All You Can Eat Active Ingredients.

480. Lord Umbershoot.

New band names up for grabs each Tuesday and Thursday. When we're not...doing something else. Until we hit 700.

700 Bands

The madness continues. For more information, go here.

461. Donning David.

462. Nine Ball Crash
Both of those from Bethany P.

463. The Sculpted Deer Obsession.
From the Lady Porphyre.

464. Audiomohel.
From this upcoming Weekend Justice. Unless Jon has a band up and running by the time I publish this. But even then, it's a free name, so he can turn around and use it. I would recommend that it be a Yiddish group covering Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave songs.

465. Gears 'n' Shit.
A steampunk band. Their first album is Levers 'n' Brass. This also came out of Weekend Justice.

466. View From Thanatopsis.
Named for a piece of work by Valerie Hegarty.

467. Frankenstein Conquers the Martians.

468. Sit at Innuendo.

469. Doppler Shame.

470. Hundred Acre Stare.

New band names up for grabs each Tuesday and Thursday. When we're not...doing something else. Until we hit 700.

700 Bands

The madness continues. For more information, go here.

451. Jessica Fletcher With a Penis.
Blame Brian.

452. Deviant Vanilla.

453. The Brine Shrimp Fuckers.
Paul says, "They're from Phoenix. Or...something."

454. Enchiladas Imminent!
Taken from Andy Diggle.

455. Dehydrated Monkey Whores.
G.G. Allin songs covered by a string quintet. Taken from Trelvix.

456. Your Lying Pants.
Taken from Leigh.

457. The Perfunctory Sexists.
From Bethany P.

458. The Hoedown of Randolph Carter.
A Lovecraft country band whose first album is called "The Stars Fell on Alabama, Along With the Green Mist."

459. The Ska Meritocracy.

460. The Discarded Christmas Trees.
The band is entirely clad in beat up Santa and elf outfits, maybe a reindeer on keyboards. They play in character as a Christmas band trying to make ends meet the rest of the year, drunk on stage half the time. They either play ska-punk Christmas tunes, or cover songs like they were ska-punk Christmas tunes. I actually really dig this idea.

New band names up for grabs each Tuesday and Thursday. When we're not...doing something else. Until we hit 700.
