Okay, so, I don't know about you...but what I take away from this is never hold hands with an anthropomorphic cigar. Because he'll lead you to the supporting cast of the movie Lifeforce. After you...um, gain briefly the powers of Lightspeed from Power Pack. And now you know why I've never taken drugs. Because we've discussed the inside of my head before and they're just not necessary. Direct link for the feedreaders. Categorized as: Animation

You know her work even if you didn't know her name, because it reads like a what's what of Disney parks: The Carousel of Progress, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Sleeping Beauty's Castle, The Tiki Room, and others. She also worked on The Mickey Mouse Club's props and sets. According to Walt Disney Imagineering, she worked shoulder to shoulder with men in the model shop, wielding saws, lathes and sanders, and was still considered the best-dressed employee in the department. "It was the 1950s," she explained. "I wore color-coordinated dresses, high heels and gloves to work. Girls didn't wear slacks back then, although I carried a pair in a little sack, just in case I had to climb into high places." Remembrance at Jim Hill Media. Source: Variety. And is there anyone alive today who didn't think the Sinbad movies were the coolest goddamn thing ever? Harryhausen gave us skeletons that got up and fought with swords and shields. What a genius. But he's not just in the full-on gloriously whacked out creature business. We'll get to that in a minute. First, let's look at 1946, for Mother Goose Stories: Direct link for the feedreaders. I realize that the quality on these is not great--so I recommend if you're a fan picked up the Early Years Collection. Categorized as: Animation

I mean, I know some people who do that today but not on the books, if you catch my drift. Hell, I would have been happy with just an office where Nerf wars happen much less a world where I could have drinks with three-dimensional flavor. I think I'll be wearing this shirt today. And dabbing at my eyes with a cloth. And cursing. More than usual. Categorized as: Animation

If you like it and want one, it will probably be in the Hammacher Schlemmer catalog in time for Christmas. Granted, if you have enough money to buy one, please adopt me. Categorized as: Animation
