04.20.06 by ScottC @ 11:20 am ![]() I know it's just past tax time but Cartoon Network is giving you the opportunity to grab some art in a silent auction. Yes, you could own a work of art created by Stephen Hillenberg (SpongeBob Squarepants), Craig McCracken (PowerPuff Girls, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends), Genndy Tartakovsky (Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai Jack, Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Butch Hartman (Fairly Odd Parents) and other too numerous to mention. All proceeds are going to help young Fyn Jules Corcoran Stec who is suffering from hepatoblastoma, a form of liver cancer. If you want more information or want to donate, visit his blog. 01.12.06 by Widge @ 2:45 am ![]() No, sorry, we're just joshing. It's concept art from the Live Action "Brave Little Toaster" Series. Wait. No, I apologize. We're filthy liars. It's just a Flickr slideshow proving how easy it is to anthropomorphize everyday objects with a couple of stickers. Found via Screenhead. Categorized as: Art

12.18.05 by Widge @ 7:35 pm ![]() Talk about gift ideas for the staff here. These bits of snowglobe art are wonderful. I wish they were working models and for sale. And, you know, affordable. They're the work of Walter Martin and Paloma Muñoz. Make sure you browse about their site. I especially dig the human candles. Found via Web Zen. Categorized as: Art
