So the trial of making the Star Wars movies was so traumatic for Ewan McGregor that he started riding his motorcycle all over the world with his buddy Charley Boorman. This time around he's driving from Scotland to South Africa. We've got three copies of the book here in hardback--and you can win one of them. Koch Vision is releasing the 1972 version of Sounder, starring Paul Winfield and Cicely Tyson, as well as the 1961 horse movie Misty. These are both based on Newbery award winning books. What does this mean? Kid-friendly? You betcha. What does it also mean? That I remind myself "Newbery" only has one R? You betcha that too. Sure you lose a lot of the traffic, but there's other concerns. Like polar bears. Anyway, the History Channel has the second season here--sixteen episodes across four DVDs--and they sent us a copy.
