That's right, it's more goodness from McFarlane Toys. Now I will admit to you that I know nothing about baseball. I think it's the one you play with rackets, right? Or something. But I do know that if you know these athletes, then these are pretty badass sculpts. We've got all six figures here--the complete series--and if you want them, you can enter and win them. No, honestly. Be our guest. And while you're at it, make sure you check out the rest of their baseball figures. Tell them we said hi. Categorized as: Contests

07.03.08 by Widge @ 10:53 am Comments on this: 3. Add your own. So Sideshow Collectibles is going to be at San Diego Comic-Con at the end of this month. That's July 23rd through July 27th in San Diego, if you can but dig it. They'll be at Booth 1929. Now--you might say to me: Widge, I live in Maine. I can't go to San Diego Comic-Con. And I might say back to you: So you live in Maine. You can still go. And you might say back to me: Widge, I've stapled myself to the floor by mistake. Or on purpose, either way. It doesn't matter. Regardless, I'm not going to be going anywhere for a while. Why should I care about Sideshow in San Diego? And so I say fine, Mr. Stapled Guy, Sideshow will bring the fun to your doorstep. At least virtually. They're so pleased about San Diego they say check their website for the latest announcements about what they're doing at the Con and come here to enter to win an Obi-Wan vs. Anakin Diorama. Oh, do I have your attention now, Mr. Sadomasochistic Swingline? That's right--it's a $280 item, pal. So you can enter for the next month, once a day, for the chance to win. The catch is that you're signing up for the Sideshow e-mail newsletter by entering--but that's okay, because I get the Sideshow newsletter and it's not harmful in the least. In fact, it's rather informative. And pleasantly strawberry-flavored.* So get to entering already. And don't bleed on the carpet. And psst--Sideshow allows entries from just about anywhere. Make sure you read their verbiage after the jump for details. Whiners who can't read will not be tolerated. And will be stapled again. Contest is closed! Thanks for playing. But don't despair! 07.01.08 by Widge @ 10:48 pm Comments on this: one. Add your own. ![]() Square Enix's game, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, came out late last year for the Nintendo DS. Here's what the shot is: One year after the events of FINAL FANTASY XII, the young protagonist Vaan travels the skies of Ivalice with his trusted navigator Penelo at his side. Their treasure hunting adventures take them to the sky continent of Lemurés where they meet Llyud, a member of the aegyl race. These mysterious winged people have been living on the floating continent for centuries, but a disturbance has allowed treasure-seeking sky pirates to breach their once-hidden territory. It falls to Vaan and his band of young sky pirates to stand up against the trespassers, and defend this extraordinary world and its people. If you'd like to win a copy of it, we'd sure like for you to try to win one--because we've got three here that the fine folks at Square Enix sent over to us. Go ahead and enter--and remember, you can do so once a day. Make it a habit--like breathing. Categorized as: Contests
