But if you want to have your Vito Corleone team-up with Lex Luthor to fight the Justice League, now's your chance. And also...check out that 3-D poster art. Isn't that crazy? Am I the only one thinking zombie Brando? I'm not, am I? Anyway, McFarlane Toys has both of these things and they have teamed up with us to let you win them. That's right--one lucky individual can win them both! Enter once a day, friends. It's allowed. Trust us. Categorized as: Contests

04.06.08 by Widge @ 4:15 am Comments on this: nada. Add your own. ![]() ![]() There's nothing like good improv comedy. Of course, there's nothing quite like bad improv comedy, either. But in the case, we're talking the good kind. So rest easy. ASSSSCAT is the mayhem that ensues when the crazy folks behind the Upright Citizens Brigade (Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh) bring in some friends, take a brief suggestion from the audience and then spin it into a monologue, then spin that into sketches. Rinse, repeat, laugh your left asscheek off. We featured an example from a different show of ASSSSCAT (not the one off this DVD) here. Ah, but it's not called asssscheek, is it? Shout Factory has graced us with a copy to give away. So...want it? You know what to do, amigos. Categorized as: Contests

04.05.08 by Widge @ 6:04 pm Comments on this: 5. Add your own. ![]() McFarlane Toys has got their eighth series of Dragons out. And Puff the Magic one they're not. Here's what they have to say for themselves: Events in the dragon kingdom are escalating, setting the stage for an all-new adventure. McFarlane's Dragons Series 8: The Rise of Man marks the time between dragonkind's rule, and their gradual decline to nothing more than myth. We've got pics of the four toys we have to give away down below. If you win, you take away the whole set: all four. Want em? Enter to win. And remember: you can enter once a day. What a deal. 04.03.08 by Widge @ 3:50 am Comments on this: 4. Add your own. ![]() ![]() The Sondheim musical that manages to evoke feelings of horror and comedy (and that's just from looking at the musical score) hit the big screen at last, starring Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and directed by Tim Burton. Alan Rickman, Timothy Spall, and Sacha Baron Cohen are along for the ride as well. It's Sweeney Todd, and as far as Hollywood movie musicals about mass homicide and cannibalism go, it simply can't be beat. If you want to win a copy, we can help out with that. I happen to have two here and you can snag one. Proceed to win. Categorized as: Contests
