10.09.12 by Widge @ 11:21 am Comments on this: nada. Add your own. ![]() It's Jeff Dunham's latest special, Minding the Monsters, hitting Blu-Ray from Comedy Central. Here's what they have to say for themselves: Worldwide comedy sensation Jeff Dunham will debut his fifth comedy special, "Minding the Monsters," just in time for Halloween this coming October. The show brings together his favorite characters for millions of fans - Walter the Grumpy Retiree, Peanut, Bubba J, Jose Jalapeno... On a Steek! and Achmed the Dead Terrorist - as they've truly never been seen before in a haunted house where hilarity and delightful horror ensue.
Filmed at Savannah, GA's Lucas Theater in May, "Minding the Monsters" finds Dunham's comedic troupe in sidesplitting situations that will both trick and treat viewers to a Halloween entertainment extravaganza. Walter transforms into something grumpier than he already is. Beer-swilling redneck Bubba J rises from the dead. Peanut becomes his alter ego, The Purple Avenger of the Night, accompanied by his spicy sidekick. And Achmed literally dresses to kill in an outfit that would terrify even the most terrifying terrorist. The special, complete with horror movie trailer spoofs starring each of the characters, takes Dunham's phenomenally successful comedy to a whole new level that's so funny it's scary. The DVD and Blu-ray "Minding The Monsters" package will be packed with special features and extras, including: A hilarious collection of "Monstrous Mistakes" outtakes from the special's taping; a behind the scenes look in which Dunham shows Walter's transformation into the grumpiest monster ever; A backstage "Tour of Terror" by Dunham that reveals the inner workings of the "Minding The Monsters" set; A "Minding the Miniatures" look with Dunham at how the special's puppet graveyard was made; A behind the scenes "Monster Movie Magic" glimpse into the filming of the trailers; And a "Frightening Photos" visit to the "Minding the Monsters" photo shoot. Also included is audio commentary and bleeped and uncensored options to provide family-friendly viewing for Dunham's all-ages audience of fans. We've got a copy of the Blu-Ray to give away. And it's not just that...it's signed as well. Nice! Want to win it? Excellent. Here's how that happens: you enter using the form below. Remember you can enter once a day.
