Eric Idle tries to milk his past. John Cleese does whatever he feels like it, usually with a paycheck involved. And Terry Jones explores history. Case in point: here he takes a look at the barbarians that supposedly didn't do much other than plague Rome (not literally) and, you know, be barbaric. Well, the victors are always the ones who get to write history, and Jones takes the side of the so-called barbarians and lays out a different story for you. Fascinating stuff. You get all four episodes across two discs. Perfect win for any Python fan or history fan. And even more perfect if you dig both. We've got five copies of it you can win, if you are quick and brave and, you know, win a random drawing. Categorized as: Contests

So there was a few reasons we wanted to give away copies of Urban Justice: First, it's Steven Seagal in a film where he's not saving the planet. Which makes it a rarity. Second, it's got Eddie Griffin. And we feel guilty that we didn't see Undercover Brother in the cinema for a fourth time. Maybe that fourth time would have given it enough money for a sequel. We will never know. And third: Danny Trejo. So that's pretty much all we have to say. Except that we have three copies and you can win one of them. Well, three of you can. So enter: Categorized as: Contests

That's what you get when you get three young people who trade in jail time for working for The Man and busting up crime. But I can't give it too much grief, because Aaron Spelling was behind it, and he's made quite a bit more money than me. So what do I know? We reserve all grief around here for the feature film version. Ahem. Anyway, I'm digressing. Which is normal. But we've got a giveaway here. We're giving away five copies of this first release of the TV show on DVD. So if you want it, then we recommend you enter... Categorized as: Contests

01.07.08 by Widge @ 1:49 am Comments on this: 2. Add your own. This might sound crazy...but there was a time when U2 was musically relevant, before they devolved into an arena rock parody of a band. The Joshua Tree came out in 1987 and it seemed like everybody owned a copy back then. It would be Achtung Baby before they fell off the brink and were never taken seriously again. I know you might have a different opinion, but if you can defend "Lemon" then good on you. That's all I'm saying. Anyway, I'm digressing. The point is that it would take something special to get people to buy this album again: and Universal appears to have succeeded--this comes with not only the album itself, but a second disc of fourteen bonus tracks. So if you want it, then we recommend you enter: because we've got two copies and you could win one. Categorized as: Contests

Add your own. ![]() There's a reason that NASCAR is one of America's most popular spectator sports -- we like speed, danger, cars and skillfulness in driving them, and these races have all those bits in great abundance. With that in mind, ESPN has put together a great collection of everything NASCAR, from its early days on back roads in the southern US to recent triumphs and tragedies on the track, and we are giving away three copies of their four-volume Collector's Set. If you love the roar of the motors and the smell of the tires on the track, for goodness' sake, enter now. What will you be getting if you win? Included are Vol. 1: The Explosion-NASCAR's Rise, Vol. 2: The Dirt, The Cars, Speed, & Danger, Vol. 3: Greatest Drivers, Biggest Races, Hottest Rivalries, and Vol. 4: 100 Defining Moments. Also included are bonus features on each disc, examining everything from paint jobs and cheaters to interviews with Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, and Tony Stewart. Categorized as: Contests
