Released by: Blue Underground My Advice: Only if you need to confuse the cat. Lorna Green is the toast of the decadent international jet set as the star of a sadomasochistic cabaret. She is an object of icy desire that men and women want to experience. But her stage life is bleeding into her real life. Her dreams are filled with games of madness and murder. The borders between dreams and reality are breaking down. Her manager/lover William may be helping taking down the bricks for some nefarious purpose. So is Lorna a pawn or is she really the Queen? 05.05.06 by HTQ4 @ 10:24 pm Film: Series Created by William Hanna and Joesph Barbera Features:
Released by: Warner Brothers Home Video My Advice: Skip it if you're a fan of the original. Scooby (Welker) and the gang from Mystery, Inc. are back for some new mysterious adventures. In these four episodes they are faced with mysterious vampires that are hanging around the video shoot for Daphne's favorite band, a spooky mummy that is haunting the ancient Egyptian pyramids, the dangers of technology scare the gang at the Omaha World Fair, and a giant serpent rears its ugly head in Hawaii. As usual, it's up to Freddy (also voiced by Welker), Daphne (DeLisle), Velma (Cohn), Shaggy (Kasem), and, of course, Scooby-Doo to solve these mysteries. Categorized as: DVD Reviews

Released by: Acorn Media. My Advice: Rent it. In the autumn of 1940, brave British pilots in their Spitfires battle German bombers over the cities of England. But some enemy planes still get through and they deliver their deadly cargo. Random death and destruction is the order of the day. But the English people persevere through the devastation, the restrictions on food and fuel, and the constant fear of invasion. But people are still people and they still commit illegal acts, including murder. Helping to maintain the rule of law is Chief Inspector Foyle (Kitchen). With his assistant, Sergeant Milner (Howell) and his feisty driver Samantha (Weeks), Foyle investigates serious crimes and works to maintain the spirit of justice against the expediencies of wartime. Welcome to Foyle's War. Categorized as: DVD Reviews

07.10.05 by Widge @ 5:24 am Film: Written by Francis Ford Coppola & Mario Puzo Features:
Released by: Paramount. My Advice: This movie never actually happened. Michael Corleone (Pacino) has almost--almost--gotten out of the illicit businesses that his family used to rely on and gone instead down the path of the straight and narrow. Of course, it's only cost him his marriage to Kay (Keaton) and quite possibly his soul. Other criminals (Wallach and Joe Mantegna) are after his ass and a young turk of a relative (Garcia) will either be the family's salvation or another cog in the machine that will destroy it. Some choice, huh? Categorized as: DVD Reviews
