Granted, back when I used to drink, there were few ways to consume alchohol that I did not consider fun and tasty, but alas, those were the days. 06.14.07 by Widge @ 7:03 pm  I had heard before that Twinkies, before they had regular old vanilla creme inside them, had banana creme filling instead. This ended due to a banana shortage in the 1940s. But now, having apparently tired of teasing Twinkie fans with banana creme in limited edition spurts (no pun intended), Banana Twinkies have returned. Assuming that there actually is real banana in there somewhere, now you can get some potassium along with scads of sugar! Bonus! Categorized as: Food and Headsup

I know, I know: you might have been trying to resist the pull of the Hot Donuts Now sign, which pulls you in like a moth to a flame. But free? There's no defense against free fat pills. 05.28.07 by Widge @ 4:45 am  Review: It's like something out of a bad teen movie from the 80s: you taste the pomegranate portion of the treat and it's like it's a sweet girl you'd like to get to know better. Then just as you chatting her up gets good--the chocolate shows up, and it turns out it's her boyfriend. Suddenly that rich pomegranate taste is overwhelmed by chocolate, leaving the taste buds to go home alone and brokenhearted. Next time, Haagen-Dazs, let's see the pomegranate portion come to the dance solo, huh? Time: 23 seconds. Categorized as: Food and Reviews
