01.03.07 by Widge @ 12:13 am W.C. Fields not only juggles, but juggles his arse off. Not literally, mind you--it was 1934 and there was no way to get that past the censors. It appears to be slated for release on DVD by Universal in March, along with four other Fields classics. Pointed out to us by the Lady Porphyre. Categorized as: Movies

12.27.06 by Siege @ 10:09 pm ![]() Written by: Glen Morgan, based on the 1974 screenplay by Roy Moore Review: I know what you're thinking, but it's a Christmas slasher flick. Come on! It had your basic components of eyeball eating, and completely dim sorority girls (There's a murderer in the house? Quick--lock all the doors!) whose skulls boast the same structural integrity of paper mache. But it also has jaundice. And candy canes as murder weapons. And that's a winning combination. Time: 16 seconds. Categorized as: Movies and Reviews

12.06.06 by Siege @ 3:11 am Written by: Neal Purvis, Robert Wade & Paul Haggis, based on the novel by Ian Fleming Review: After what happened to the franchise when they started dabbling in invisible cars, we sort of gave up on Bond. But now we can relish in the beauty of Craig's Kicksplode, and be welcomed back into the warm bosom of brutal fight sequences, parkour, and the most vindictive torture sequence ever. Oh. And--the bad guy cries blood! GAH! Time: 17 seconds. Categorized as: Movies and Reviews

10.31.06 by Widge @ 10:29 pm It's the entirety of Night of the Living Dead. Like you needed anything else to watch on Halloween. Of course, if you like some bonus bits, then let me help you out: there's something like thirty-four different versions of the DVD for this. But Elite's Millennium Edition is the best of the lot.
