We lead off this week with a great album from an awesome Need Coffee fave. Now I know that this is a Christmas track. And you know how we feel about premature Christmas tracks around here. But we've told you about Big Mike Geier and the sound generating machine that is Kingsized before. Here they are providing their take on "Do You Hear What I Hear?" and it's from a compilation to benefit the Atlanta Humane Society. It's comes in either a digital download or a limited edition disc of 1000 copies and it's called WAG-A-LOT's All Creatures Great and Small. It goes on sale this Friday, 11/26. This week we kick off with from (L to R) Dominic Johnson, Joey Stone and Lauren Molina (from the most excellent Sweeney Todd revival) performing what might just be the best Cee-Lo Green cover in history. Apparently all three had just finished working on the recent Chicago production of Candide and because talented people do such things, decided to arrange a new version. So how do you improve upon a song like "Fuck You"? Add badass strings in a new arrangement for violin, cello and voice. In D. Just watch this. And share it with whoever you can.
