Cover art and links to Amazon are forthcoming, so stand by for picture justice. Of course, special thanks go out to Clutch for letting me use their absolutely badass song, "Promoter (of earthbound causes)" as my theme music for this. Buy Blast Tyrant, which is where you can find "Promoter". Buy their latest album, Pitchforks and Lost Needles. Send them love and coin. BTW, you iTunes subscriber types can nab this feed here. 09.12.06 by Widge @ 6:51 am ![]() We're here playing catchup in the wake of DragonCon. These are titles that hit shelves on 8/29. Give a listen. BTW, you iTunes subscriber types can nab this feed here. Or if you want to do something else with it, the feed feed is here. Special thanks go out to The Sprites for letting me use their kickass song, "George Romero," which we've mentioned before, as my theme music for this. Visit them on MySpace as well. Buy their existing album. Pre-order the new album (which has "George Romero" on it). Send them love and coin. Categorized as: Podcasts

09.12.06 by Widge @ 5:45 am ![]() Yes, every year at DragonCon we've made it a point to conduct "Make the Bad Men Stop," our very own special Hollywood gripe session/group therapy wherein we go off on the industry in general, share what we know about projects currently in the pipeline (or lodged somewhere in the pipeline), and answer questions from the audience. This year we tried snagging the audio, which was cleaned up by our good friend Ken Plume from Quick Stop Entertainment, God bless him. Like most live events, it can be a bit hard to follow, but it probably wasn't a lot easier to follow if you were, you know, actually there. Some of the audience questions you can't hear, but we ran out of mics. Sorry. Panelists include: Rob Levy, Dindrane, Doc Ezra, ScottC, HTQ4, J.M. Tuffley, Jason Service, Ken Plume, and some shmoe. Download the file here, but be aware it's a long one. 62.8MB and it lasts about 66 minutes. Enjoy. Or whatever. BTW, you iTunes subscriber types can nab this feed here. Or if you want to do something else with it, the feed feed is here. Categorized as: Podcasts

Cover art and links to Amazon are forthcoming, so stand by for picture justice. But yes, you're not imagining things. The Weekend Recommendations Podcast is now "Weekend Justice." And a name like that doesn't work unless you've got badass theme music to back it up. That's why special thanks go out to Clutch for letting me use their absolutely badass song, "Promoter (of earthbound causes)" as my theme music for this. Buy Blast Tyrant, which is where you can find "Promoter". Buy their latest album, Pitchforks and Lost Needles. Send them love and coin. Thanks as well to Misty Lee for the cosmic truth and the anchovies and Darth Plume for the James Spaders. BTW, you iTunes subscriber types can nab this feed here.
