Your Weekend Justice for June 6, 2008: Of Sporks And Men
Posted on 06.06.08 by Widge @ 5:44 am

We're back with another hour of utter nonsense.

Agenda:

  • Setting expectations
  • Sporks
  • Canadians
  • Antidepressants & lithium
  • Your obligatory Torchwood bitch slapping
  • Flash Gordon
  • A good deal of Doctor Who
  • Your sports update from Doc
  • Scott's epiphany of self-awareness
  • Hogan's Heroes

Of course, special thanks go out to Clutch for letting us use their absolutely badass song, "Promoter (of earthbound causes)" as our theme music for this.

Buy Blast Tyrant, which is where you can find "Promoter". Buy their latest album, From Beale Street to Oblivion. Send them love and coin.

BTW, you iTunes subscriber types can nab this feed here.

Or if you want to do something else with it, the feed feed is here.

Nuts on the Road, Episode 2: Bob Dylan and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Needcoffee Podcasts

Ken Plume from Quick Stop Entertainment and I spend a lot of time on the phone. We have conversations that make very little sense. Then one day, I decided that we should harness our powers for the betterment of humanity. But Ken would hear none of it and instead he insisted we harness our powers for this less than brand new podcast (since this is now the second episode), entitled "Nuts on the Road."

Just remember...you've been warned. Or perhaps you weren't. I'm never sure.

Discussed: The disappointment of "Crystal Skull," the complete lack of Sallah in said film, and the vocal stylings of Bob Dylan.

  • Torchwood and a clarification on our position regarding the series
  • George Lucas and how he exists on a completely different legal plane
  • Skype
  • Other duties as assigned

Special thank you and apologies to Morgan Freeman.

Of course, special thanks go out to Clutch for letting us use their absolutely badass song, "Promoter (of earthbound causes)" as our theme music for this.

P.S. I sound like shite in this and Ken informs me that's because it's all my fault. I'm okay with that. We'll fix it next time. Nuts on the road.
