09.28.06 by Doc @ 10:47 pm ![]() I read a lot of gaming websites, play a helluva lot of games, and spend a not-completely-healthy amount of time pondering game theory, the game industry, and game writing. As such, Klosterman's plea for a game-journalist version of Lester Bangs struck a chord with me. Coupled with a steadily increasing irritation with what passes for the gaming press over the past couple of months, add a dash of bitter, and boom. Wrote a rant about it. Wanna hear it? Here it go. 09.12.06 by Widge @ 4:16 am ![]() That's right--fresh off the Giant-Sized Annual, it's another podcast, performed entirely during one of my NyQuil-induced blackouts! Hu-freaking-zaah! That pic over there, incidentally, is when Ken and I decided to light a signed Venture Bros. poster on fire at the Gonzo Film Fest. We figured whoever could put it out the fastest could go home with it. Ah, man. Good times. Good times. Subscribe via iTunes here or do it manually with your own thing with the regular feed here. 09.08.06 by Widge @ 11:12 am ![]() Quick Stop Entertainment head burrito Ken Plume and I decided to record a couple of commentaries while we were hanging out at DragonCon. The terrifying first result is here: Episode III was twelve miles of ass, and we sit through it, providing nearly wall to wall griping. It was therapeutic. No, really. Categorized as: Rants
