02.20.10 by Widge @ 4:07 pm So this one has been up for a few weeks and I had meant to post about it when it first appeared--but even now I feel I must bring this to anyone's attention that missed it, because it's certainly impressed us here. The name of the shirt is AW3SOM3 F1GHT!!1! and, as you might have already registered, it features a knight in armor with sword fighting a dinosaur in armor with a laser mounted on said armor. However, the awesome part of the equation is that the bloody thing is all ASCII art style. And if you don't know what that means, you can either ask your parents or click on the link or, perhaps best option--do both. Certainly there have been other recent new ones that cranked our tractors, like Arcade Expressionism or the Rox-friendly Space and Time, or even the Dindranest shirt in a while, Bubbles the Snow Leopard. You can click through any of the links to check them out for yourself, or just go to their front page. Tell them we said hi. Categorized as: Headsup and Shirts

12.30.07 by Widge @ 9:58 pm ![]() Scott just sent this over: yet another shirt from Last Exit to Nowhere that I have to beg for them to make on a black shirt. I have my Zombaid shirt. Now I just need one for the Winchester. Please? Categorized as: Shirts

12.12.07 by Widge @ 1:18 am ![]() Like we could help ourselves from posting this. Coffee is the wellspring from which all creative thought--nay, even civilization itself!--flows. It appears to be printed on something greyish-green or greenish-grey, depending on which pic you look at. You can see for yourself on the Insanely Great Tees site here. P.S. Just remember: decaf kills. Categorized as: Shirts

11.26.07 by Widge @ 8:43 pm Do I really need to even say anything about this? Or give any reasoning as to why it's here? I didn't think so. I will say this, though: $10 sale. So if you want it, best get your ass in gear and order it. They're already running out of some shirts. Categorized as: Shirts

11.05.07 by Widge @ 2:52 am ![]() Oh, this is amusing: Neighborhoodies is now offering a limited edition blue polo shirt that has the Improv Everywhere logo on it that looks...sorta kinda maybe like a Best Buy uniform shirt. This, of course, is inspired by their classic mission to go shopping at Best Buy wearing clothes that just so happened to look a lot like Best Buy uniforms. Very nice. Categorized as: Shirts

10.08.07 by Widge @ 6:23 am ![]() We've mentioned Found Item Clothing before, and now they make us happy once more with shirts for your Halloween wearing pleasure. Not only do they have the Shaun of the Dead Zombaid shirt, which we've already drooled over on Colors Are Overrated (and then ordered our own, natch), but they have the I Got Wood shirt that Chazzie award winner Nick Frost immortalized in the film. Best get your order in now if you're looking to complete a costume. Categorized as: Shirts

07.31.07 by Widge @ 6:56 pm ![]() Yes, that's right. 25% off. So if you've been craving something like the classic nerd shirt (it's black!) or any of their other fine products, go and enjoy the sale while you can. And as always, we appreciate the kickbacks. Categorized as: Shirts

07.28.07 by Widge @ 4:23 am ![]() TCritic points us to a pair of kickass shirts that can be used to proclaim to the world what audiences you're cleared for. There's the Restricted Audiences shirt and then there's the All Audiences shirt. The latter, naturally, is green. You can see them both here. I'm NC-17, of course, which means I can't even get on a shirt. So. Categorized as: Headsup and Shirts

07.20.07 by Widge @ 4:32 am ![]() No, it's probably not legally binding in the least. However, Jason over at Cephalopodcast decided that when you're a gonzo filmmaker running about, but you still need to post notice to people that you're filming and they could be part of the crowd, why not make some yellow t-shirts that are hard to miss and put a generic release on them? Just add your particulars with a Sharpie and rock on. Again, probably wouldn't hold up, but as far as CYA goes it at least makes more sense than "Cape does not enable user to fly," right? 03.15.07 by Widge @ 3:47 pm ![]() The latest in geek attire comes with a shirt that displays a game of pong on your chest via an "animated decal". Throw in a cape and you're Pong Man. Or something. At least the thing can be tossed in the laundry. The question is: Do I want this because it's geeky or do I want this because it's so dark grey it's almost black? Or could it be both?
