02.04.07 by Widge @ 7:36 pm ![]() We've tried to refrain from beating the whole Aqua Teen bomb "hoax" lunacy to death here, tempting as that has been, since it's already been flogged wonderfully in other places of the blogosphere. Check our del.icio.us links via the Needcoffee Feed if you want to see a nice bit about it. But we couldn't resist this: a guy who better not go anywhere near Boston. Categorized as: Shirts

01.15.07 by Widge @ 5:57 am Sadly, no, these aren't true Monarch Underoos. Partly because they're not really Underoos ("The closest you'll find," says the guy behind the auction) and partly because they're total bootlegs. If you want them, grab them and the other Venture Bros. clothing the guy has up for sale before he gets shut down. Why Adult Swim isn't making their own Venture gear I have no clue. And it just goes to show that for merchandising, somebody over there in the chain at Cartoon Network has no clue either. C'est la guerre. Categorized as: Shirts

12.19.06 by Widge @ 3:16 pm ![]() Doc sent me a link to The only thing I want to know is: why isn't this available in black? Why? Why, damn you, why? Update: Apparently it's not available in white now either. That domain has gone the way of all flesh. Tasty, tasty flesh. However, it appears somebody's doing the shirt here. Categorized as: Shirts

09.06.06 by Widge @ 5:56 am ![]() Seibei's zombie hunter tees, which we've mentioned before, are even more badass in person than they appear on the site. Yes, mine came yesterday. And I swooned. Such is the pathetic nature of my zombie geek fascination. Check it out: your own player name on the back, along with your choice of number. Your number on the front as part of the "Intramural Zombie Hunter League" bit. And, optionally, the "Kill as Many Zombies and Vampires as You Can" bit on the sleeve. Plus the "choose your own gore" custom bit, making for lots of nifty bloodstains and zed-handgrab marks. Unbelievable. A grey shirt so cool, even I would wear it. Buy yours here. Tell them we said hi. And use our special code "Needcoffee" to get 10% off, natch. More pics after the break. Categorized as: Shirts

08.06.06 by Widge @ 5:53 pm ![]() Okay, I think it's no secret that we're addicted to cool, wicked, funny T-shirts. No, really. We could stop if we wanted to, though. Honest. So it's with mixed feelings that we heard about Go Ape Shirts, where they meet all the three criteria above. We cringe, then we get this smile on our face, and our wallet starts sobbing in the corner. But oh well. C'est la guerre. Seriously, check out the image there. Kevin Ross' "Elliot's New Friend" is pure pop culture mashup genius. (And it's on black!) Check out the kaiju-esque goodness of Henrique Lima's "Battle!" And the first shirt I saw from these guys that made me snort coffee all over my laptop: Dave Horowitz' "Boo-Boo Walker." It's all good, though. And reasonably priced at $18 a shot. They're sick and they deserve your coin. Categorized as: Shirts
