Joseph has been busy in the lab and the less I know what he's up to, the less I have to testify to at the Hague. I did hear him say that since he is three years old, he should be able to handle transuranic elements. 08.25.09 by Widge @ 4:28 pm  Threadless hasn't had a t-shirt that's knocked me back in a while--but that's okay, it's a big world with a lot of people in it who need a variety of t-shirts to clothe their bods. But Threadless does still have the power to make me curse them for not making something available in some form of black variation: namely this one, "Ninja! Heads Will Roll!," which has the distinction of being the shirt that looks like it's slitting your freaking throat. The only thing I might add is that, while this is cool, a true ninja would have at least already been on the back of the shirt by the time the picture on the shirt was "taken." But still. That's freaking wicked. Snag one for yourself here. Oddly...not available in kiddie sizes. Hmm. Categorized as: Shirts

08.06.09 by Widge @ 12:03 am  That's right, it's t-shirts starting at $8 as part of the Threadless Back 2 Cool Sale. And it lasts through August 17th. But as we've stated when we've mentioned Threadless sales before--don't wait. The diminished price tag means that people will storm the place and ransack the inventory. So if you want previously discussed shirts like Vampire!, Sleep is So Last Night or the Walrus Road Block then go for it. But hey, a lot of shirts are discounted...so peruse the site. 07.07.09 by Widge @ 2:53 am  I have to admit, I felt a bit unclean looking at this shirt, featuring a pissed off Winnie the Kodiak Pooh. It makes me want a trailer mashup between The Edge and Winnie the Pooh. "We're going to kill the bear!" "Oh, bother." Also, it reminds me of this guy--and I just Twittered this in case anyone knows who this is--who was going around San Diego Comic-Con collecting sketches of people doing their own version of Winnie the Pooh. Alex Ross recreated the cover of Marvels #1 with Pooh in the place of The Human Torch falling out of the sky, on fire and screaming. And James O'Barr had drawn Tigger as The Crow, bullet holes and all. They were fantastic. Does anyone know who that was? Anyway, the sick sick Pooh shirt can be found here. They've got a slew of shirts for $5 and another slew for $10. There's the Jonathan Coulton-friendly "Like I Swallowed a Kitten" shirt, the giant walrus roadblock shirt, and a shirt about goth romance. (Not really.) Categorized as: Shirts
