Released by: Wellspring Video. My Advice: Wait for cable. Over the last few months, three men have turned up dead. They have been tortured and mutilated, their bodies dumped naked and without any clues. The local CID is reluctant to call this the work of a serial killer because of the massive media storm that will cause. However, Detective Inspector Carol Jordan (Norris) decides to consult an expert, Dr. Tony Hill (Green). Befitting a psychiatrist who studies serial murderers, Tony is a little … odd. But he starts getting a read on who is committing these crimes: someone who sees torture not as pleasure, but as a test of worthiness. He may not have much time to finish his profile when a fourth victim, a police constable, is found and the media storm finally breaks. Both the police and the press are overstepping their boundaries, so Hill has to focus to keep both from distracting him from finding the killer . But now the killer is focusing on Hill, so he must he ready to survive the most dangerous therapy session of his life. Categorized as: Reviews and TV

Released by: Rykodisc. My Advice: Yeah, you'll want this just to show it around. The world is a dangerous place. Pretty much, no matter where you are, you are susceptible to it sneaking up on you and handing you your ass. That's why we should be grateful for Nick "The" Frost, Chazzie award-winning actor, who in his spare time becomes the Sir David Attenborough for the potentially lethal. He circles the globe seeking out danger, confronts it, smirks at it, and then instructs us, the audience, on what to do in that situation. Categorized as: Reviews and TV

08.05.05 by ScottC @ 1:52 am Film: Series Created by Glen A. Larson Features:
Released by: Universal. My Advice: Catch it on cable to tide you over until the Special Edition comes out. Things always go wrong on trips: you get a flat tire, you miss your connecting flight, or you forget your passport. Or like Captain Buck Rogers (Gerard), you get frozen in cryogenic suspension and trapped in an orbit that doesn't return to Earth for over 500 years. When he awakens, he finds the destination not much better with Earth ravaged by a nuclear holocaust and surrounded by enemies, primarily the Draconian Empire led by the sultry and sexy Princess Ardala (Pamela Hensley).
