DragonCon 2003 - Day 2

Saturday, August 30

The entire crew is on hand for the panel at the Classic Sci-Fi track, "Future Imperfect, or Where the Hell is My Flying Car?" From left to right: Widge (obscured by head), ScottC, Ken, Tuffley and Doc. Obscured by Head is actually the name of the unreleased Monkees/Pink Floyd album.

Behold--as we prepare for the coming of the Gonzo Film Festival, let us reflect for a moment upon the Brit Media track schedule--and our #1 poster, created by Melonpool artist god, Steve Troop.

Widgett takes a moment to lament the two freaking huge piles of prizes we were looking to give away.

Much to our great delight, we had people beginning to line up--nay, to teem, in fact--outside the doors of the room as we frantically setup inside.

Mother of God--moments later they had teemed so much we had a freaking line down the hallway of people waiting to get in! Inside, we were trying to Macgyver up an A/V cable, but that's another story altogether.

Doc opens the doors! The teeming masses look to overpower even his cynical self! It's like the elevator scene from Dawn of the Dead for God's sake!

Holy crap! Here they come!

But by then it was midnight, so now move onto Day 3.
