Into the final stretch of the day, we closed out DreamCon with our wake for the Muppets. For those of you not paying attention, the Henson Company sold the Muppets to Disney, so basically...they're for all practical purposes dead. Or maybe not dead, just constantly fighting the same battle over and over again in a paralell dimension, not unlike the JSA was doing for a while.
Anyway.

Here's Widge and Ken explaining what the folks are about to see: our little tribute to the Muppets. The obit reel, basically. Notice the armbands of mourning.

So after depressing everyone with the obit video, we tried to cheer the crowd up the only way we knew how: by giving away kickass Muppets action figures from Palisades Toys.

Hey, who's a winner? Long-time friend of all creatures made of felt, Kathleen David (yes, as in Mrs. Peter, writer of stuff).

Yeah, I think we cheered some people up. Here's some more winners of Palisades goodness.

And we're done, about to head back on the road. And we are deader than hell. Even the Doc Ezra totem has passed out. So from DreamCon 2004, it's the Needcoffee Crew signing off.
