My Advice: Wait and Rent It.

The Kerrigans are an interesting family with an eye for a bargain.  Everything they do is at a discount, so it's no wonder they bought into a house right next (I mean RIGHT NEXT) to the local airport.  Everything's fine, even though the eldest son (Wayne Hope) wound up in the slammer.  Everything's fine at least until the conglomerate behind the airport wants to nab the family's land for an airport expansion.  And since a man's home is his castle, you know that father Darryl (Caton) is not going to take this lying down.

A nice enough film with a bit of quirky charm, it doesn't take us anywhere we haven't been before, with a ration of good chuckles to keep our interest.  Son Steve (Anthony Simcoe) and Darryl's constant search for a bargain while looking through the "trading post," surprisingly stays funny though it's used often.  It does please with its working class vs. the government, little guy vs. the system mentality, but that coupled with the one joke of "laughing at the trailer park people" does manage to carry the film--but barely.  Won't lose anything on the small screen at home.
