Lost?

No worries. Here's everywhere you'd want to be.

I. What's New. The latest and greatest insanity is here. We list the last seven updates to the site so you can see what you missed if you skipped a day.

II. The Needcoffee.com Labs. Here's where technicians are churning out the majority of our content. You can choose from the following:

     A. The Contests Lab. Exactly what it says--every now and then we feel like giving away stuff. And when we do, we do it in here.

     B. The Conversations Lab. When we get a moment free and can actually interview people, we stick the results in here.

     C. The DreamCasts Lab. What we became infamous for--casting films correctly. Find the results of our experiments here.

     D. The Literature Lab. Doc Ezra holds sway here, throwing out book recommendations and reviews like there was no tomorrow.

          1. The SDI Lecture Hall. Every so often you can catch the good Doctor giving one of his patented lectures on literature-related topics. Watch out for flying splinters of glass.

          2. Audio Bombs. Reviews of audiobooks and audioplays on CD.

          3. Word Bombs. The good Doctor's section of book reviews.

          4. Reading Lists. If you need something that's good to read, the Doc and his cronies here at the Institute can help you. Summer Reading Lists are here, so are the favorites of various staff members.

     E. The Next Wave Lab. Widgett's online comic book, written in script form because we can't afford to hire an artist. The first three issues are online, hopefully he'll find time to keep going. Ah well.

     F. The Opinions Lab. A place where our columnists, whenever they feel like it, smack some thoughts down on virtual paper and pester you with it.

          1. Four Color Fury!. Between Tobias Cluth and JM Tuffley, our tag team comic book columnists, reign terror upon an industry that really does need a swift kick in the ass.

          2. La Résistance. Cardinal Fitts, independent film director, takes time out every once in a while to pontificate about his particular industry here.

          3. Widge Goes Off. Widgett, our sage editor and head misfit, brings his column of old back to life in stunning Real Audio. It's what we call an "audiolumn." Tune into the Technocave.

          4. World of Conspiracy. T.V. Smith, a very strange bloke, travels the world in search of the odd and unexplained. A cross between Lloyd Kaufman and Charles Fort, he's sure to amuse and astound.

     G. The Reviews Central Lab. We had so many different kinds of reviews all over the place, so we stuck them all here for safe keeping.

          1. The Comic Reviews Lab. Exactly what it says: reviews of single issues, graphic novels, and more.

          2. The DVD Reviews Lab. Again, pretty straightforward here. Just a few hundred reviews of discs, growing by freaking leaps and bounds--complete with ratings, cover art and sample screen grabs wherever possible.

          3. The Game Reviews Lab. Mostly reviews of video games for the Xbox, PS2 and PC, but some times other stuff will sneak in as well.

          4. The Movie Reviews Lab. Theatrical release films get their due here, from 1997 to the present day.

          5. The Toy Reviews Lab. Toys of all shapes and sizes get discussed in here. And for all ages too. Gear can be toys too, you know.

          6. The 27 Second Reviews Lab. One thing we try to do is be brief when we write up reviews. You have better things to do than deal with a lot of verbiage. But when you're really in a rush--come here.

     H. The Weekly Recommendations Lab. Each week, the caffeinologists here at the Institute try and give you the latest, greatest stuff that you can use to keep your weekend interesting.

III. Links. When you run out of cool stuff to do here--fat chance--then we want you to get what you need. Because here it's all about you, the reader. And we--ha. Hahahaha. Hahaha. Sorry. Excuse me.

     A. Caffeine: For the Caffeine Lover. When you need more Net-stimulation--or at least some variety, go here and run amok.

     B. Compatriots of the Cause. Friends of Needcoffee.com have their links here. There aren't many, because we don't get invited out much.

     C. Stay Awake. Sometimes you've read everything on the site. If you're a good, responsible caffeind, that is. And when you need more, we understand. Just go here and partake.

IV. Shopping Guides. Two flavors of Guide are available to you: first, we're distilling our DVD Reviews down to what we believe are the bare essentials for your video collection. And second, we provide monthly guides to what you can use for gift-giving madness. The guides are Extreme for a reason.

V. Store. Go to our parent site, One Tusk, and check out what's for sale. There are the books available from One Tusk Publishing and then there's gear from CafePress. For the love of God, spend money on us.

VI. The Gabfest. Our very strange and bizarre message boards. Come grab a bite in the Discordian Bar & Grill, swap artistic horror stories in Erich Zann's Java Joint, or check out the latest news in the News Wireds. Learn the true meaning of "TTV."
