This first bit is from a Dudley Moore appearance on Wogan’s show in 1988. This replaces the 1971 version we had from Dick Cavett. I just love watching Wogan fall to piece behind Moore at the end.

The man was a sheer genius. We miss the hell out of him. After the jump comes a slightly different variation of the same routine, from “Beyond the Fringe.” It’s worth watching both.
