We’ve got a translation plugin that will translate Needcoffee stuff into a variety of different languages. Now, please realize this is an automatic translation thing, using various services like Google and Babelfish, so it’s not going to be perfect. To put it frankly, we can’t afford to publish this stuff in English, much less hire somebody to translate it into multiple languages. And I’ve never wanted this site to be, shall we say, Region 1 only. I’m not the brightest guy around but even I understand the benefit in trying to address as big an audience as possible. That’s why we, for the longest time, included links to Amazon Canada and Amazon UK (this was back before they had a ton of flavors, if I remember correctly) and we only stopped doing that because none of you guys bought anything from them. What’s up with that?
Anyway, we don’t want to exclude anyone. There’s an entire world out there that needs to stay awake. Hence the plugin. I’ve trapped to tap the languages that will give us the broadest exposure to lunatics worldwide. I think I will be tapping my server if I try to add any others. Maybe when we start making megabucks off the site then we can expand.
