Wayhomer Review #117: The Avengers 3D (2012)By Widge - posted 05.05.12 @ 3:21 am

Episode #117 for The Avengers 3D, in which our protagonist is so drunk with glee he has to get Bailey to drive (and co-review), thinks Disney is feeling a lot better about their year and only has one nit that he has to pick. Otherwise, this is him drunk on just the film. He wants to make that clear. Direct link for the feedreaders. Downloadable iPod version here. Want to subscribe to our Wayhomers as a video podcast? 2.Great review.
I've been looking on the site all day hoping to see your reaction to the move.
... and your review was almost as entertaining as the move :)
I definitely agree, brilliant parts of the movie, some just good, overall amazing.

4.Delightful! I loved this review! A gleeful Widgett! I will try to think of gleeful Widgett when I see Twitter profile pic Widgett!
The review is similar to my thoughts. I felt the film got a little claustrophobic (and dare I say small) during some of the middle. But the final 1/3 is just wonderful.
I enjoyed Ruffalo's Banner much more than I thought I would, but I felt the film didn't capture the pathos of Hulk that the previous films were able to capture... but hey, they had much more time to spend on the big green guy.

5.A great and very entertaining film review, like "The Avengers" i thoroughly enjoyed your film review, you guys are great. I'm glad you deicided to give this film 5 stars, i seen it last night and it absolutely deserves 5 stars without question or hesitation whatsoever.

6.Thanks, Delfra. I'm very hesitant to give out five stars because I don't understand critics who give out "100%" or "perfect" scores left and right. Sort of makes the highest rating meaningless. Back when I was seeing 100+ films a year, I think the most five star ratings I gave out in a single year was to three films. So. I don't just hand them to anybody.
Thanks for the comment.

9.Great Review Widge! The movie was fairly seamlessly woven together. I will have to say Joss Whedon did a good job. You could definitely see his style all over the film. Especially the tool he used to pull the characters together. I thank him and curse him for making us care about his characters. I will say I absolutely loved the hulk bits throughout the movie and Ruffalo was great.
