For those of us who love the tale of the terror sphere, this is good news, as it's always good to read the original manga that inspired our favorite anime titles. The tentative target date for the first volume is summer 2008. Gantz follows the relatively brutal story of an evolving group of people who may all be dead, forced to do the dirty work of a mysterious black sphere that provides assassination targets, weapons, and scores for each of the "players," but no answers. This means the shops can reorder my backstock with ease. GO BEG. So if you still maintain a relationship with a local comic book store, go do that thing. And if you don't already own a copy of Finder: Talisman, get it. It's my favorite graphic novel/collection second only to From Hell. Own a copy or I will eat your face. That is all. 07.28.07 by Widge @ 3:32 pm  TwoMorrows has so much good stuff that I can't keep up, I swear. So I was reading BackIssue! #16 and the interview by Michael Eury with Arthur Adams. Adams has done much in the way of badass work, including one of my favorite Marvel two-parters, the X-Men/New Mutants/Asgard storyline from back in the day. He, of course, has done scads of work before and since, and did the artwork on two Gumby specials. So here's the bit I wanted to share: EURY: Do you think that Gumby and Pokey could be terrorists? ADAMS: Not on purpose, but they might accidentally do something where high jinks might ensue. EURY: Like what?
