We Make Money Not Art has got the skinnee on an idea so weird…we can’t wait to try it. Basically it’s a maze that’s invisible–the only way you know you’ve encountered a wall is the vibration from the digital headphones you’re wearing. They’re triggered via infrared to let you know you’ve smacked into something.

What sealed me on the deal is the fact that the maze changes: some they’ve used include the Pac-Man board and the hedge maze from The Shining. Freaky.

“Take off the headphones, Wendy!”

  • I wonder if they got the idea from Lovecraft’s “In the Walls of Eryx”? It’s a great story and one of his few real stand-out non-Mythos tales.
