Senses Working Overtime clued us in to something very sweet: Old-Fashioned Hallowe’en. It’s a blog devoted to “a selection of 19th and early 20th century stories, articles and poetry from period sources such as magazines, books and journals,” with an eye towards educating us about how my favorite holiday was treated back in the day. Excellent.
Update: Damn. Looks like the site’s gone the way of all flesh. If anybody knows if it’s taken up residence somewhere else, please let me know.
